Matt Duchamp, Partner, Rigby Slack

Matt is a skilled and experienced life sciences and commercial real estate transactions lawyer. His life sciences practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions of small and large cap companies, furnishing regulatory and compliance advisory services to technology and healthcare-focused clients within the life sciences industry, and providing outside general counsel and corporate governance services to both startups and established companies nationwide. In Matt’s commercial real estate practice, he assists clients with the purchase, development, leasing and financing of commercial properties throughout the United States.

Before joining Rigby Slack, Matt served as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer of a large, multispecialty healthcare organization based in Austin. Matt is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and South Texas College of Law Houston, and is an active supporter of Texas A&M athletics through his involvement in the 12th Man Foundation. When not spending time with his wife and four children or coaching youth sports in Dripping Springs, Matt enjoys golfing with friends, family road trips and reading good books on his back porch.
